Steven Farzam M.D.
Steven Farzam M.D.
Dr. Steven Farzam is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Farzam received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1994. He then completed his residency at The Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 1998. Dr. Farzam established his practice in Cleburne in 1998. Along with providing excellent care to women, he sums up his practice by saying “I am proud to have served the women of Cleburne for over 14 years. I take pride in providing quality care in obstetrics, gynecology and surgical problems.” Dr. Farzam enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN including in-office procedures, infertility, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology and pelvic surgery and he strives to give personalized compassionate care to all women in any stage of life. When not caring for patients, Dr. Farzam enjoys spending time with his wife and twins.

Dr. Puentes joined our team in 2013 from her previous position as an obstetrics and gynecology resident at the University of Texas Medical Brach in Galveston where she earned a Golden Apple award for medical student teaching both in 2010 and 2011. Dr. Puentes believes in the family approach by involving and educating her patients' support system. And when she cares for a patient, she cares for them like family. Outside of the office, Dr. Puentes enjoys playing with her 5 year old boxer Maddie.

Carla Morrow has worked in women’s health care as a nurse since 1995. Carla earned a master's degree in nursing from Texas Christian University in 2004, a post-master’s certificate as a women’s health nurse practioner from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 2006, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in nurse midwifery from Baylor University in 2010. Carla enjoys providing a wide range of women’s health care services. When deciding where to practice Cleburne seemed like the perfect fit. “I was looking for a community-based experience where I could really get in and get to know people and their families,” My main goal is to care for women throughout their life and the various stages and health issues they may encounter.” She is passionate about empowering women and their families through education and enjoys assisting them in making positive health care decisions based on research, individual risk factors and life philosophy. Carla has been married to her husband Shawn for 20 years. Together they enjoy spending time with their children and traveling.

Shannon DaSilva is a certified nurse-midwife (CNM). Shannon received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in nurse- midwifery from Baylor University in 2012. Shannon serves in the American College of Nurse-Midwives Division of Global Health and is a Birth Boot Camp natural childbirth instructor. Shannon has also spent time overseas providing women's health care to the underserved. She feels her passion to provide quality health care to women is both a local community based calling and a global calling. Shannon strives to provide individualized care for each patient. She values the time spent with each woman discussing the her concerns and desires in order to develop a plan of care that will fit the her specific needs. Through this approach, Shannon believes the woman is empowered as a partner in her health care. Shannon provides care for women throughout her life, from adolescence through childbearing years to menopause and beyond. Shannon’s training as a midwife has enabled her to manage most complications in labor and delivery and she works closely with the doctor to ensure quality care in the case of complications. Shannon and her husband welcomed their son into the hands of a midwife after a beautiful unmedicated birth in May 2012. Shannon believes in the God given ability for a woman to birth babies naturally, which she has witnessed countless times supporting women during labor. Shannon is always amazed by the strength of women and the miracle of birth.

Dana Hackler realized early in her nursing career that her true calling was to assist and provide support to women and their families throughout pregnancy and birth. After 13 years as a labor and delivery nurse she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a midwife in order to provide the level of care she feels women deserve and desire. After earning a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University School of Nursing in 2009 she immediately enrolled in the University of Cincinnati’s graduate program to pursue a Masters Degree in Nurse Midwifery where she Graduated in 2012 and became a Certified Nurse Midwife. Dana loves educating women about their options available based upon evidence based practice and strives to provide thorough, compassionate care because she feels each Mother should be involved in the decisions related to her pregnancy and birth. Dana feels honored to be a midwife in the DFW area and looks forward to having a positive impact on the community by improving the quality of women's healthcare through comprehensive, compassionate care. Dana and her husband of 13 years, Chad, have two beautiful children 9 year old McKenzie who loves the outdoors, and is a midwife in the making and 3-year-old Colton who keeps them busy and loves to hunt or be outdoors. In her free time, Dana loves to shop, read books and spend time with family and friends.
Robin Davis Certified Nurse-Midwife

Robin Davis has had a passion for labor and birth dating back to nursing school. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994, she began her nursing career taking care of women with high risk pregnancies. She found her true calling when working as an RN in Labor and Delivery. After fifteen years as a bedside nurse, she completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. She joined the Parkland Midwifery service in 2013 where she has gained profound experience in labor management birth. Robin loves working with women and families. She feels it is an honor to be present during one of the most life changing times in a woman’s life. Robin has been married to her high school sweetheart for thirteen years. They have two children, Hudson 6 and Rhett 1.
